While there are some anime OP (or ED) theme songs I like, I can’t say that I was really that gripped by the Negima! anime OP song, “Happy Material.” If you haven’t heard it, or don’t remember, take a listen to the original anime cut of the song (from the OP).
If you want copies of their music on CD, it has to be imported. YesAsia does have all three CD’s from Japan, though for some reason, they don’t show the actual CD cover art.

If anyone buys these albums or already owns them, let me know.
That’s awesome! That’s going straight into my big playlist.
You might want to look here as we’ve reviewed the albums. Might be of interest to you: http://blog.animeinstrumentality.net/tag/rasmus-faber/
Perfect. AND you have an interview too. Awesome. Thanks for the share. ^_^
No problem! We’re rather big fans of Mr. Faber’s work and I personally own all three Platina Jazz albums that he’s released. One of my writers should have the review of the 3rd installment ready in a week or so, and hopefully, people will enjoy the samples to come out of it.
I’m glad it wasn’t an atrocity like the Funi dubs of 1000% SPARKING or A-LY-YA, but I guess it’s just not my cup of tea. It’s definitely interesting to listen to, though. Thanks for sharing. (^_^)
I dunno about you, but I reckon both the english versions of those songs sounded awesome/great, especially to have an english take on them.
Jazz version of Happy Material AND Genesis of Aquarion opening? Hell yeah! (especially since I’ve just started watching GoA, man these songs sound nice). Would have liked to have seen a jazz version of 1000% Sparking as I’ve always preferred that opening overall, but nontheless still awesome.
Cheers for the update find, so much good stuff to find/plow through on youtube.

Heh. There’s a reason I never listen to dubs of any kind. ^_~

Yeah, there is. ^_^

Can’t blame people for not wanting to listen to/prefer dubs, but the old saying ‘Ya never know until you try’. The eng ver 1000% sparking is no where near terible imho, but thats just me.
I prefer original versions all right, but hearing a dub version (official or fanmade) is refreshing (I’m also refering to anime), especially to hear what it’d sound like in english (or you know, to have a confirmed non-japanese character speaking english xD)
I relish reading and looking at posts that make browsers want to make comments that create good discussion about what has been written about on your anime blog. Thank you. have you seen this anime’s merchandise, its pretty amazing! Although I have some these toys that I collected from PIJ I’m excited! Its really cool! http://bit.ly/Aquarion
That’s one of the import services, though I’ve never used them.
